A Fine Sense of Humor for a Finer Cause
On August 7th, 2011 Bike for the Ballet will tackle childhood obesity & Ballet iconography head-on; sponsoring a cyclist’s tutu not only creates an active & artistic scene in Augusta’s downtown, but also gains one child entrance into Anyone Can Dance & Cook Camp, empowering local families to move well, eat well & be well, affordably & for life. Hats off to our first cyclist here willing to turn something absurd into something beautiful for local children & families. We love this image evoking courage, strength & light-heartedness, something we all, dancers and athletes included, need to live well.
