Augusta history and nature meet at an evening of food, sweets and music at the Cotton Ball hosted by Historic Augusta. Mint Juleps included of course.
The Cotton Ball setting is a pristine and manicured garden surrounding a historic home (this year’s home rumored to have been built by the Rockefellers back in the day). The Cotton Ball allows visitors to parade through beautiful hidden, historic gardens in the Garden City.
Admission to the Cotton Ball is through membership in Historic Augusta, Inc., open to anyone who believes in preserving Augusta’s treasures.
Certainly true that old is the new green.
