Art is Life Augusta

Westobou’s world-premiere event “Transfigured Time” by Semi-Precious Productions included a Maya Deren film in conjunction with Metropolitan Ballet Opera School. The music varies from the video here… the Indie Rock legend Mac McCaughan composed accompanying music from classical and creative instruments against the backdrop of the Sacred Heart Cultural Center, an ornate and beautiful church and gardens.  The Sacred Heart houses the Ballet and the Symphony and is the site and host of an excellent Garden Festival in the Garden City.  “Transfigured Time” included a stroll through the gardens with creative fare by the Bees Knees.  If you missed this, Sacred Heart’s carved cherubs are weeping for you.
